I have been to the new Barnes and Noble four times since its opening on Tuesday. Each time has been better than the last.

Just the smell of brand new books that smacks one in the face the instant one walks into a bookstore of that size and caliber makes me weak in the knees.

And today I turned in a job application.

Pleasepleaseplease let me get this job!!

Current NaNoWriMo is around 15300. My goal is to be at 20000 by the end of today so, heh, I should probably get to work on that.

Even at 24, working in a bookstore is still considered such an awesome job in my mind, I'd love to be able to work in a B&N. I have a shiny member card for that place, it makes me feel special. If you get it and if I ever on the offchance revisit San Diego, I'm obviously going to come in and be an annoying customer requiring assistance. *nods*

20,000 is a good goal, it's mine as well. I've FINALLY caught up with myself after slacking so much for the past forever, I honestly think I can if I put my mind to it. Though I've been writing all day just to get to where I am, I might not. Good luck though! You're doing awesome!
